Peggy Shults“I really love the comfort of my apartment. Most of the people living here are great company. I have made many friends here which is a great thing for me at this age. The housekeepers are very nice and go out of their way to ensure we get everything we need. The van is also great for me to be able to get out and do my own shopping so it doesn’t fall on my daughter.” Peggy Shultz, Resident at The Hearth at Franklin in Tennessee

Lamonds - Gardenside“After mom received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis, we looked for a warm, homelike community with an experienced team. My parents chose The Hearth at Gardenside in Branford.  It is a loving, caring community; both residents and staff.  The Gardenside team helped us engage mom in stimulating activities so she could make the most of her daily routine which is key in promoting self-esteem and productivity.   What makes The Hearth stand apart from other senior living facilities?  It is the ability to adapt to any situation, problem solve, all the while keeping the resident’s dignity intact. Our family is so grateful that our parents reside in a loving, safe environment where they thrive, have friends and find comfort in the staff at the Hearth at Gardenside.” – Susan P. – Family member of residents at The Hearth at Gardenside in Connecticut

Payne Family - Inez, Kelly, Lisa - Hendersonville“I would love to tell you about our experience with The Hearth. My Mother in law suffers from Dementia. At the facility she lived previously for two years we made the decision to move her from their independent living to their assisted living and this was a move she did not handle well. She did not understand why we would not take her “home” so it was a rough two months for all of us!  We made the decision to move her again (for her safety) and decided on The Hearth’s Keepsake Village. We expected that it would be a long period of time for her to get adjusted and comfortable in the new place. We could not get over how fast that happened!  And we truly believe it was mainly because of the care givers!  They were so patient with her and took their time to help her feel like it was home. After two months of complete chaos, she was finally herself again!  We have been especially impressed with Quentin!  He has been so good to her, and treats her like his own family. We could not be happier with our decision!” – The Family of Inez Payne at The Hearth at Hendersonville in Tennessee
